Location : Bury, Lancashire  
Salary : £30,000 - £45,000  
Contract : Permanent

A Customer Liaison / Project Engineer is required to work alongside an experienced team of engineers working on a whole variety of projects; from new buildings to railways to bridges. You will be working on all sectors of the construction industry. The successful candidate will ideally come from a Structural or Geotechnical background and have experience in Infrastructure management within the construction sector.

Customer Liaison / Project Engineer who wish to apply should demonstrate good experience within the construction industry as well as having the focus and the grit to get to the bottom of a problem. You need to not just fix the problem but know the reason behind the problem and how it occurred.

Customer Liaison / Representative Role:-

Explain results, question system quality and work within field teams.
Oversee all stages of the project and report back to the client.
Ensure every stage of project is running smoothly.
Use your problem solving ability to figure out the reason behind a problem and not just figure out the solution.
Ensure that each stage of the project is on track for exactly what the client wants.
When your team finds a problem it is your job to keep the client in the loop.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:-

Understanding of monitoring services including geotechnical and structural aspects.
Ideally a lot of knowledge about each sector within the construction industry (Rail, Buildings, Bridges, Highways).
Infrastructure management experience within the construction industry.
Hold a QCF degree level 6 minimum, (ideally in structural engineering or Geotechnical).
Have a strong problem solving ability.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written along with excellent people skills.
