Salary : £20,000 - £30,000

An exciting opportunity is available for a Civil / Infrastructure Engineering Technician keen to continue their career and personal development within the Civil/Infrastructure sector. As the new Civil/Infrastructure Technician you will join a busy and dynamic Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Manchester. The successful Civil / Infrastructure Technician will assist with/undertake design and detailing of infrastructure engineering on a variety of drainage and highway projects.

Civil/Infrastructure Technician Role:-

Preparing quality drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
Offering support to the highways and infrastructure teams.
Using civil design software, specifically MicroDrainage, PDS and AutoCAD
Undertake design and detailing of infrastructure engineering on a variety of drainage and highway projects.
Undertaking contract administrative duties and liaising with clients and other professionals.

Role requirements and qualifications:-

Ideally candidates will have previous industry experience within a consultancy or similar industry.
You will be competent using civil design software, specifically MicroDrainage, PDS and/or AutoCAD.
You will have completed or may be working towards a Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant subjects.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations and Health and Safety.  
You will have good numerical and verbal/written communication skills.
You will have a full driving licence and have a strong work ethic.
